Summer Must-Haves 2016
Posted on May 18 2016
Wait, swimsuit season is here?!?!, but I haven't had time to shed my binge eating and Netflix watching weight yet! Who can relate? I bought this swimsuit at Target and wore it on spring break this year. It is the best swimsuit I have ever owned. It has coverage where I want it, but still feels sleek and stylish. This suit is flattering and I can frolic in the pool worry free.
2. Beach or Pool Bag
This woven beach bag is perfect for your trips to the pool or beach. It's big enough to hold all of your stuff and you don't have to worry if it gets wet. It's a cute and classic bag that you will use all Summer long.
3. Fringe Sandals
Fringe (and tassels) are all the rage this Summer. A cute coral pair of flats like this will add a pop of color and style to any outfit.
4. Tassel Necklace
On trend in a delicate way. The oversized statement necklace is taking a backseat to more delicate, minimal pieces this Summer. I am loving this pearl and tassel necklace from Oasis.
5. Barely there Nail Polish
I am a big fan of a clean, neutral nail in the Summer. I love to play with fun colors in the Spring, but switch to a barley there polish in the Summer. My go to favorites are: Ballet Slippers & Mademoiselle by Essie or Mousseline by Sally Hansen. Shown here is Mimosas for Mr and Mrs by OPI.
6. Comfort and Style with Linen Pants
Linen pants give your style a relaxed, it's Summer and I haven't a care in the world look and feel. These ones from Loft are perfect for when you want to be comfortable but still stylish. Pair these pants with flats and a fitted tee for a relaxed Summer look.
7. Summer tops
I am currently craving both of these tops. They are great Summer staples that you can dress up or down. Both tops are super versatile and can be paired with your skinny jeans (dark wash or white) and heels for a night out or dressed down with flats for a more casual look.
Wishing everyone a safe and fun Summer.
